94 5.0 A/C Comp - Clutch&Bearing Help

I burned up the air conditioning compressor clutch on my 94 Pace Car. Not too worried about getting the air functional right now, finances will not allow - but do not want to gut the A/C with the Motorsport delete kit. Can just the clutch be successfully replaced, allowing the same belt to be used? Heard that the clutch was a "pressed in" part that can't be really replaced. Thanks.

FWIW, I paid $162 including shipping from www.stangparts.com for a used, but good/working compressor for my 95GT. Installed it last weekend, and it works just as good as new.
