what kind of shifter on Ford Racing NEW T5? What kind of handle is needed?

What kind of shifter comes on the Ford Racing new t5? What kind
of shift handle does one need for this? It looks like one is NOT
included.

Its probably a stock shifter, in which case you could need a stock handle. I would just invest in a short throw of some sort.

I double ditto that. I wouldn't give you a plug nickle for that piece of crap OEM shifter. I never understood what folks were talking about when they discussed missing third until I replaced my tranny with one that came with an OEM shifter. Shifting into first with the motor tacked out in 2nd sucks! The farmer who owned the field I spun out into didn't appreciate it much either. Choose an aftermarket short throw of your choice and avoid the possibility. Tri-Ax, Pro-50, MGW... take your pick. They're all great units.

The stock shifter is considered a "short throw" shifter by Ford.....what a joke.
