Tampa, Fl.
SCT2 93 octane tune, JLT Longtube headers, JLT Intake.

Max Power = 276.92
Max Torque = 296.83

I'm a little disapointed with the results. I was hoping for 290hp. My guess is that the headers aren't giving me much gains, the bulk is from the tune and intake. Also keep in mind I have an auto, probably 10-12 more hp lost.
After today's tune my tires really rip from 1st to 2nd and even a little chirp from 2nd to 3rd.

Next step for me is a set of machined heads. Anyone here installed any yet?

I just got my 1st dyno with 87 oct. Gas V8, Stick, Max CAI, Predator and what a odd set of no.s Max RWHP 232 @ 5450 RPM, and 374.7 Max Torque. I told the guy your Mustang Dyno has something wrong with it, he said it was working fine, it must be the weather cond.
Temp.93.8 Deg
Press. 29.84
Humdtiy84%
Has anyone ever seen no.' like this or do you think his mach. is hosed.

I won't worry too much, as long as the car is running ok and all the other reading as they should be.

Dyno's are very inaccurate, if you're really worried try a different one.

But remember even if your car dyno'd 310rwhp it wouldn't actually be any faster or more powerful just another inaccurate reading.

An alternatve if go to the drag strip, find out the total weight of the car with you in it (basically how much it all weighs as it goes down the strip) and find out the mph at the end of 1/4 mile. The ET isn't important. From the speed and the known weight you should be able to approximate the bhp of the car. This is how G-Techs and the like work, which when setup and used correctly are very accurate.
