Spark Plugs

I'd stay away from Platinums unless you don't want to have to change them every year...But since our plugs are so easy to change I'd go with coppers since they'll give you a better spark, but like I said they won't last as long as platinums...I run Autolite 764's gapped at .054"

how come in the owners manual it says to run plugs with an "EG" suffix on one bank and "E" suffix on the other side....Whats the deal with that?? looking to put some new plugs in my '98 with 84k on the clock..
...missouri_guy197 you having good luck using the autolites, as opposed to motorcraft...? anyone using ngk.....Im an ex import owner and ngk are the only plugs i used \....

I had Autolite Platinums in before these coppers I have hin now and both have worked well for me, but the coppers are about a 1/4 the cost...I got the coppers for about $1.25 each and the platinums were around $4...I've heard of people using the NGK's without issue too...
