hey guys.. long time from the boards.. its good to be back.. anyway.. this might sound dumb but how do you take the center console out from around the sterio and crap..my woman got me a cd player and its one of those.. it might be crap but i got it for oyu so put it in.. so yea.. if anyone could help me out that would be awesome.. thanks

there's a screw behind the existing radio that's on there... you need about a foot extension and a torx bit i think. the radio should slide out w/ those stereo clip things (my car didn't have a radio when i bought it so i'm not sure about the clips) that's the only screw holding the bezel in place

now that i think about, are there little squares in all the corners of the radio. mine was actually not the stock. if you cant pull it out, check the screw on the back of the console like mentioned earlier.
 
No, the squares are for a certain tool. You need a din puller however I did it with 4 small allen keys. You need to stick somehting in each one of those 4 holes untill you hear a click and its secure, then it slides right out. Its like you have to push 2 clips one on either side towards the radio. Try using a clothes hanger, however they do sell the tools.
