Mod bug has bit again

Hey all its time to buy more STUFF :D . I want to get the BBK twin 65mm throttle body and wanted to know at what point in the air flow increase do we have to get bigger injectors on the Terminators. I plan on getting ported this fall so I wanted to get the throttle body and mass air before the port job. Let me know what you all think.

Accufab is far better than the BBK unit. Flows more too!

Oh ok, I will grab the Accufab unit then. Is the TPS hard to get off of our stock throttle body. Last time I changed a throttle body on my GT stang I could not get that sucker off and just bought a new one. Anyone have any HP numbers from adding a throttle body?

Well I plan on getting ported this fall and I am running 12 pounds of boost. Well for 350 dollars I may as well put another 200 with it and get ported. I just wanted something that I could install quickly that will give me ssome decent gains. Right now I have K&N FIPK, pulley, and catback exhaust.

Well if you're looking for decent gains.... skip the TB! It really won't do much as far as HP/TQ. You'll feel better throttle response and it may even make your cruise control act a little funny. What it won't do is provide you with any noticeable gains. I say skip the TB and when you're ready send your stock Eaton/TB/Inlet to Steig and get them all ported!

Dr....how are ya?? Do any mods lately....I'm thinking of doing the Stieg Stage III in the fall (s/c, t/b and plenum (sp??). I think I will have to do a Mafia or something similar as well. Not sure if I will need to swap injectors as I should be in the 510hp range.

Long time no type Mick. No mods since the Autometer boost/fuel pressure gauges went in. Still stock. LOL. Down the road, 4# lower, Big MAF 2400, SCT tune. Possible blower/tb/plenum Steigi port, not sure yet. As I have said before, IT NEVER ENDS. Be good. :nice:

Amazon Racing has moved to South Carolina. Just a tad too far for to drive for a tune. :( There is a guy who is a SCT dealer and tuner 10 minutes from my house that a couple MACA guys are using now. He does a data logging and adjusts right on the street as you are flogging the pig. He has done some nice work on some local snakes. Good guy. I believe he will be involved in a MACA tune day down in Maryland in the near future. His name is John. No need for me to drive that far though. :nice:
