To all of our Mustang Tuning Customers:

Unfortunately, we have to inform you that the Mach 1 Chin Spoiler for the 99-04 has been discontinued. Ford has decided to focus on their new SN197 (2005+) line. Because of this new direction in Ford's marketing plan, chin spoilers will only be able to be bought from your local Ford dealer at a much higher price than we have been offering. The new price would be around $85.00 or more for a $6 Piece of pressed plastic.

Those people who have standing orders with Mustang Tuning for this item please contact us ASAP so that we may discuss with you alternatives for your orders.

To everyone that has been waiting for these spoilers patiently for a long time, Mustang Tuning would like to thank you for being so patient; and we apologize for the inability to provide you with a quality product at a good price, due to corporate decisions on Ford's part.

WTF???

That was bound to happen sooner or later. I'm surprised no 3rd party has started making the chin spoilers themselves.. I'd like to see a 99/01 Cobra specific chin too - I'll have to patent that one.

That REALLY sucks. I was going to get one not to far in the future and paint match it to my car. Looks like I'll go with the ROUSH Stage II after all. Thanks for the info.

I'm surprised no one has made a carbon fiber one. I think that would sell. It would sure be different from the others.

I would like to see a cheaper version of the Shinoda spoiler come out. I would throw out my Mach 1 lip in a second if the Shinoda was a reasonable price.

Same here, except i'll be getting an 03 cobra front instead of repainting my bumper and chin again. :nice:

It is and always has been cheaper to buy them from Randy Stinchcomb at Modular Depot anyways. He works at a Ford dealership.. and his "much higher" prices include hardware and are less than they cost everywhere else anyways.

WHat a load of BS. "Focus on the 2005 line"???

Who are they kidding, they found out how popular it was so they decided to corner the market by being the only supplier.

Manufacturers are required to stock parts for 10 years for a model...so we are good til 2014 in terms of getting a mach 1 spoiler. Ford just wants to sell it at a higher price and make $$$

:stupid: I agree they only want the money!

So true - Randy is the connection! BUT, as of today, he is out of stock, back ordered, expected to recieve them on 08-27. When I bought mine from him (about a year ago), the price was $55.49, without mounting hardware (the easiest way is to use cheap, simple push rivets, available at any auto parts store) and was shipped for dirt cheap in a big flat box (not folded like some places do). :nice: :flag:

I got mine from Randy about a month ago for $65.00.

One of the guys at Mustang Week told me the company that actually makes the chin spoilers went out of business. He also told me the same company makes the Mach1 grille delete, so they may be destined for the same treatment. Has anyone else heard this about the grille delete?
