I got all my parts for a 5 lug swap, bigger brakes, H.O. MAFS EFI, lowering springs, and whatnot. But I want to put this thing to sleep for the winter early because I don't want to spend anymore cash on it and with the current gearing (100km/h = 2600rpm) I can't really hit the highways to go too far. Next spring, the car is getting finished.

Oh I had a honda civic, what a POS. It feels like a freaking tin can. I got rid of it for fear of being laughed at. I still have the Corsica but I'm looking into trading it for an older RWD Oldsmobile so I can have some fun this winter drifting lol

i hear what your saying. Total this year i've had my car out was maybe 6 times. It has a bug or two that i cant seem to figure out, so ive decided to let itsit. i've done a few small things, like a taurus fan install. But the past spring added a set of E-brock Performer 5.0s. And damn i cant enjoy it.

Oh well, building a house now :p thats a job in itself lol

Yeah a house is a big job lol But more rewarding. Congrats!

Now I'm thinking about getting rid of my project and buying a nice stock little vert (1993, 120,000kms) for 10,000$... I just want a nice driver and not a race car. I guess I'm tired of wrenching while most people are tinkering with swapping intakes or doing tuneups, I'm at home rebuilding engines, playing around with the suspension and whatever. It's getting to be tiresome.

With the vert, all I need to do is turn the key and go. No paint jobs, no nothing. Just little stupid things like sensors or whatever that needs changing once in a while.

I hear ya on that! Id almost like to get a new stang. A few friends have Mach 1's. Such nice cars stock. work so well. And comfortable. Makes me want one, throw in a set of gears, maybe an exhaust, the usual lil bolt on's and be done with it. a nice daily driver.

yup it's up for sale. My goal for the moment is to purchase a stock 'vert next summer. All I know is I don't want to tinker with this thing anymore. Hell I'd take 1500 for it just to get rid of it fast (before I change my mind), and I'd throw in the 351 just for good measure.
