I am interested in lowering my 96 GT. I know about the pro kit which is better than stock, but it doesnt look low enough to me. The sportline and H&R super sports look like they will give me the drop I am looking for but I am worried about clearance issues. Not so much the tires hitting the wheelwells, but my x pipe scraping. I currently have a bassani catted x pipe, and it hangs pretty low. I havent measured, but it looks like it only sits about 5 inches off the ground at the most at stock height. Im not sure if it is because mine is an auto that the x pipe hangs so low, because i know that they make different ones for manuals. Is anyone running a bassani catted x with an auto and sportlines or H&R ss springs? If so does it scrape often? I spent alot of $$$ on the x, so i dont want to take it off. Any help would be appreciated... Thanx

I have the Eibach Sportlines on my 99 GT, I also have a Bassani X pipe. My clerance is pretty good, the only time Ive scrapped anything was going over a tall speed bump in a parking lot. Went real slow but didnt help.
Also the Sportlines have an awsome stance, but they do ride like ****.

ground clearance??? whats that?

Sportlined 01 GT with LT, and Roush sidepipe. i have no clearance. I havent scrape anything yet. i just have to pln where i drive befor i do so. its cool looking, but just try to get any service done... i'm going to replcae it with prolly C spring over the winter time

i scraped everything with my sportlines and bassani x-pipe. i finally just did the drag launch springs and havent hit a thing yet.
sportlines=good stance, bad ride, no weight transfer
drag launch=stock stance, awsome ride, best weight transfer
