I just installed the Charge motion control plates and reprogramed the tuner to disable the IMRC's and upon start-up the car went directly into failsafe? The other mods I have include K&N aircharger kit, underdrive pullies, off road X, and custom catcack. Any ideas on why the car would go into limp mode? Is there a bug in my tuner or what? Anything would be greatly appreciated.

no i don't....what I am thinking is maybe I need to disconnect battery for a whole day and see if it erases all the codes that have been stored. Then see what it is doing? Also I just found out that I am supposed to be running the hydro-carbon trap with the K&N intake....so we'll see what's going on? I just need to put it on the dyno.

What kind of tuner are you using? Diablo Sport Predator (DSP) or SCT Xcalibrator I or II? Each has good customer support to help you straighten out your problem. I have not installed my IMRC's from Steeda due to not enough time. But most people have not had problems using either of the above tuners. I have a DSP, and have not had any problems with mods I have done and used it to re-tune my '05 GT. Curious..... Keep us posted.

try disconnecting it for 10 min rather then a whole day it would have the same effect

You do not need to reinstall the hydro-carbon trap..Ford discontinued installing those devices in mid year of 05..I also found out from a Ford field service engineer, that their were no calibration changes, after the HC traps were discontinued..I even removed my HC trap. while still running the factory airbox and didn't run into any problems..you should also notice between a 3-5 HP increase, as well..
