ok when i get on it i dont even spin really through first my tach just shoots to redline and then shift to second and the car is all over the road back and forth. and shoots to redline and then catches and goes in third. I HAVE DRAG RADIALS. but dont drive around on them in the street. i know that i will have traction issues without them but i just need the 1st to 2nd shift back and a little better traction. regular tires are 245/50/16's. I Have stock suspension with the exception of eibach sportlines. and the back is pretty muched stripped. no back seats, sound deadning, spare tire, jack, carpet. whats going to help out the most?

-Control Arms
-Subframes
-Adjustable Shocks

what else could i use to help me with this issue?

just the control arms and adj shocks arent going to do much at all for traction. All they will do is keep the car tracking a little straighter and more predictable while its spinning the tires. No traction is the nature of the cars (big motor up front and nothing in the back) and your situation is only worsened by the fact that u removed weight from the back. i think if you just shift a little easier it wont happen...in fact im positive it wont! save that kind of driving for the track when you have the good rubber bolted on.

I have the same exact problem even with brand new tires and the stock gears. I also have NO interior and My battery is in the trunk. I shift at around 5100 into second and get sideways but the car is very predictable and easy to Control....for now lol

its great feeling i'd say. i can do the same thing and just like said above, try jamming thrid when your spinning in second......fun stuff'

all the stuff you listed will only help

put your rear sway bar back on! :D

broke a rear sway bar once and I could spin my drag radials 1st-2nd-and most of way thru third on my 94 cobra. Didnt know what the hel was goin on, once I bought a new rear sway bar, my traction was back. Just a thought!
good luck

the throttle is not an on/off switch, rather it is moduable... good drivers can accelerate on the verge of traction...

Or you could listen to him ^^^^ :nice: Battery in the back helps as well.

The lowering springs aren't helping. Honestly you will not get good traction with out the right tires regardless of your suspension. A stock mustang with no mods has traction problems....this is a puff post....what next? "My 1 ton 4x4 carbed dually gets $hitty mileage. Is there anything that I can do?"

funny:

ussualy when its gonna rain i take my tempo to work. well they changed the forecast durning the day and i got caught at work with wet streets, so i had some fun around work going home. now this is an idustrial section with wide roads for semis. i bassically kept the tires spinning till 4 th gear :D stock suspension and BFG radial t/a's. going like 20 km/h with my speedo reading 120 km/h lol
