Yea Go With The 3.73's if you do alot of highway driving! I have 4.10's and cruising over 70 I can see my fuel gauge going down as the mph goes up!!! but 65-70 gets about 20 mpg!
your guess is as good as mine i have a '00 GT, stock height tires, 4.10s and a T-45. i dont think they put T-5s in '00's? 4th at redline (6k rpms) is 102
After looking at RPM and speed calculators I dunno about 4.10's. Seems 4th gear tops out at 105-115 MPH. I want to do some club open track stuff and dont think 5th gear would excellerate well. Maybe look at some 3.90's for a little more top end in 4th. Tho I know the 4.10's would rock while autocrossing.
amnit: These tough decisions!!
It really depends on your set up 373 or 410 are great on a na stang. For me with my set up on street tires 373 or 410's are to steep and 355's are perfect. So It really depends on what mods you are planing.
i dont want 3.73's cause i feel theyre not that much of an improvement over 3.27's(or whatever), but i dont want 4.1's cause i hated taching 3Krpm on the freeway in my old car doing 80.
