I just looked under my hood and installing long tubes does not look easy. Can I get some testimonial of some people who have done it already. Can one man with only a 2-ton jack and the proper tools do the job?

Man I wish I had a lift!

its a PITA, but not complex unless the LTs you get hit the motor mounts. its just really hard to reach up in there and basically requires two people (one under car and one over engine bay) to do it in a timely manner

From looking at it that's what it seems like. I think I've narrowed the headers I will be going with down to MAC or JBA so hopefully there won't be an issue with the motormounts with those considering that they've been out for a little while now. But who knows. Something usually turns out to be a PITA anyway when you get down to it.

www.rpmoutlet.com has some long tubes for sale and if you look them up they have install articles for most of them. I think JBA recomends you unbolt the motor mounts and jack up the motor an inch. Hooker says theirs can go in with the removal of the dipstick tube and by unhooking the steering shaft. You might take a look for yourself.
