Transmission Physicians in Tampa just south of Gandy on Dale Mabry. Fernando is a very knowledgeable guy and warranties his work.

I just got mine back tonight and will start the T5 to C4 swap tomorrow.

I'll let you know how it is when I get it up and running the T5 is out now but I need to pick up a few more odds and ends before the C4 can go back in.

Good for you.

I would like to hear how it comes out,btw you got a converter yet?

If theres anything you needs to know, just ask.

Good trans thread. I am thinking of putting my TKO 500 up for sale and using what I get and putting it towards a really good C4 or something. My setup being full drag, planning on a 427W nitrous motor might be hard to get any consitancy with a manual.

I would like one with a good stall, manual valvebody, trans break and all the goodies.

You would probably be better off with a PG.

427 on nitrous sounds like big power too me :D ,I mean were gonna be pushing our PA Super Comp C4 with our 408 on juice.

How much you plan on spraying of course?

If you plan on keeping it around 900hp or so to the wheels then you should be able to keep the C4 in the car.

I have a TCI C4 that I bought in 87, and freshened in 93, stilll works fine, has about 160,000 miles on it.

I put a TCI rebuild kit in my original, and a valvebody, and its in my 82. They have been excellent to deal with.

.I dont really like the TCI stuff form experiance (a bad one at that...) but I guess there ok

I bought their low gear planetary, :stick: :uzi: :chair: Split it into two pieces on the first hard 1-2 shift. I will NEVER buy from them again. I bought the majority of my stuff from summit. PA hardened input shaft, six pinion planetary, Hughes performance overhaul kit and pan. I would recomend a trans temp gauge too. Just me.
Mike.

my convertor i sa 3500 so I was told I need to flush it out since there was a ton of debris in the trans I'm sure it will be in there too. I could use some help figuring out where I put the dip stick and fill tube I picked up from AE I don't see any holes for this on my trans.

Case fill or pan fill?

I got a case fill and the tube goes into a hole in the right corner of the pan mounting surface, near the bellhousing.

I dont know about pan fill, but it probably goes into the pan?
