yah i would say go with a high stall. That being said do not go with a off the self generic high stall. If you order a custom built TCI high stall you can easily get away with a 3200 and not have it a very noticible thing at all. The b&m off the self Torque convertors are crap. My bro in law has a custom built High stall for his hot rod and you don't really even know he has one. No nasty leaving the stop light chirps for no reason. An with a AOD i would go with 4.10 gears.

how much would it cost to have a lower intake ported. what does custom built actualy mean, i called ptc and told him what i had on the car.he said a 3,000 to 3,200 stall. and that he would have to build it. he also said that it will work great with my cam.very good cam.

after i get the torque converter in i have to start reenforcing the frame on this car. i have the subframe connectors. just need someone to weld them in. what about torx box renforcement what is a good kit. also do they need to be welded in.

The lower torque box kits are bolt-in, it would be hard to weld them in due to the fact they slip into the existing boxes and there is no room in there to weld. The upper kits can be welded.
