MMR shortblock.. or something else?

With money to add power just about set..


what do you guys think about MMR's short blocks?

I'm looking for about 500 to the wheels, will their mmr600 kit handle this? Or would I be better of going with the mmr900 block? Or should I not go with mmr at all?



I find it hard spending 3500 on the block and paying someone to install it and so on. These kits seem relativily cheap and that makes me nervous. I've heard a few things about MMR and they were all good.


I just want the 500 to the wheels and I'll never go bigger or anything. ( I promise )


So whats my best bet?

I've nothing but good things about mmr. You can always go with modularpower house too. Just call mmr and ask if the 600 will be enough for you.

I've heard alot of good things about MMR. But the 600 comes with a cast crankshaft. If it was my money I would toss the extra money towards a forged crank. Your only talking about a differnce of $600. Well worth it in my opinion.
