ok.... so, i got almost done with my gt to bullitt swap... and went to swap over the new SS line to the handline... well.. i got it matched up and the screw on the hardline is smaller then the screw inlet on the SS line... so i am guessing i have the cobra lines which have a larger diameter screw. anyone have any possible fixes since its the weekend and all and shops are closed. granted it was a rather short install time, 15 min per side, but i'd rather get it working today or tomorrow to be ready for work and time to test and bleed (incase other unseen problems occur).

thoughts?

ok, some information i just gleaned... i think i was accidentally sent the mach1/03/04 cobra lines that do have a lrger diameter fluid intake line.... but i DID order the correct size... so, i need to work with the company and see what they can do.

any possible fixes in the meantime? :))

Yep, sounds like you got the bigger ones. I had SS on my stock GT brakes and when I swapped over to the Bullitt calipers I used the same lines. If you told them what you were doing (putting the bigger brakes on) they might have had a brain fart and sent you the lines for the Bullitt/Cobra/Mach1. If the car needs to be driven I would have to say to put the stock lines back on until you get the correct lines. Otherwise, and unfortunately, just wait until they get you the smaller inlet lines...

sorry for not getting back to this sooner... caretta is completely right... after a brief talk with the company i purchased from (actually i just sent an E-mail and my cell rang a min later). i was informed i had the right lines, just the wrong line on that side... the drivers side has a larger inner diameter then the passenger side.

though i cant complete the install... sadly the loving guys at ford racing sent me a black cobra caliper and a bullitt caliper.... so they have to go back. so next week.. also gives me time to order some AST blue
