Tinting windows....rear dot matrix???

What did you guys do for the dot matrix? DO most tint shops offer the vinyl strip? Does this go on the inside or outside?

I want to get my windows done this week, just want to be prepared.

i got mine tinted 3 weeks ago and the shop used a vinyl strip to cover the dot matrix.......it went on the inside

My shop put the tint on over the top. I had to wait for a warm, sunny day, and had to get in the back and press the rest of the tint into the matrix. It was flippin' hot in there, but it worked.

Mine did a black out spray on it...it basically made the dot matrix solid. The cleanest look i have seen...

Back when i had tinted windows...(Before i got an effin ticket and had to take it all off!!! )

the shop just put the tint right over the dot matrix and didn't do anything to cover it up. I thought it looked fine anyways. The dot matrix area didnt stand out very much and i didn't mind it one bit..

heres a site i used when i had tinted mine, b4 i had to strip it back off

try stationary glue for the matrix, it works wonders

I got the vinyl strip on the outside...i think it looks fine but after two years in the sun it ready for a redo.
