I just got the SLP Loud Mouth today and I'm planning to install them this weekend. Anything that I should know? any special tools or tricks that I should be aware? any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance for those who send their inputs.

All you should need is a ratchet set and about an hour of your time. I'm assuming that most of the axlebacks install pretty much the same way...really simple, it only took me about an hour to install my FRPP Stingers and only because I jumped into it without reading any directions and had no help. You wouldn't need a second helper but I'd advise it...just so you have someone to hold stuff up while you're bolting everything into place, it will make it much easier. Other than that, good luck and take some pictures and maybe a sound clip when you're done.

You will love them. Looks and sound =A+. very easy install too. But when you put the clamps on for the tips, point them up instead of down so you wont see them hanging down under the car.

You need 13mm and 15mm sockets and a 13 mm box end wrench. The 15mm socket needs to be a deep socket. A couple of the exhaust hanger bolts are kind of a PITA as they are directly above the stock muffler. I found the SLP LM easier to put on, than take the stock exhaust off.

Guys, thank you very much for all the comments. I'll remember to put the clamps pointing in the up position and thanks for the sizes of sockets. As soon as I have the pipes installed I'll post some pics. I can't wait to hear them!!. Thanks again

easy install, but be careful if u have big hands/arms like I do...there are some tight spaces, I got my hands ALL cut up and scraped in there...
Once you get the stock pieces out you're home free, the SLP's go on real easy being so small....

Cool vid. What is the difference between LM1 and LM2? If I'm not mistaken, the LM1s are the Bullets, right?

Also, off topic: what type of tail light covers are they and were they installed at the begining of the vid when you see the stock mufflers at night with the lights on? They look sweet.

I installed the LM1 yesterday and just like someone said in this thread it did put a huge :D on my face. They are incredible, sound and looks are greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat. I rank this mod to the top, best money ever spent.
The most difficult part was to take the factory ones out, then was really easy to put the LM. I'm got them right, (even height and centered in both sides) the first time, I guess just pure luck! haha.
You got clearance to put the bolts and tighten with no difficulty. I have listened in the computer a lot of different axle backs, but this ones, IMHO, are the best. Pure muscle sound, yes loud, but nice loud.
I'm 40 years old and the sound from the car makes me feel 20 hahaha!!!. It feels like the car runs faster, more responsive, I guess is just the sound that makes me believe that. There is a tiny drone sometimes, right around 2kRPMS, but it goes away immediately, even my wife likes it. I spent all day yesterday with the windows down, listening to the sound. I'll take some pics and post them. Thank you for all the great inputs and advice I have received for the installation.

They sound so good, I have been driving around with the windows down also. I am thinking about taking out the a/c since I have no need for it anymore I would rather be uncomfortable and listening to the exhaust, then comfortable and quiet. Also the hangers torque them to 18lbs, and the clamps torque them to 40 lbs.
