20 inch rims question

i need some help. I want to put 20x8.5 rims in front and back of my 97 non gt mustang. Question will they fill w/o any modifications and Question 2 what size tire would I need for these thanks alot

back, maybe, front, ehh... note too sure, probably will rub no matter what tire size you run

You sure you want to do 20"s? I've seen 20s on a 2000 coupe and it just didn't look right. 20 x 8.5 should fit easily with a 35 or 30 profile rear tire. Fronts probably will rub for sure. For a 8.5 width there are many popular tires that'll work. nitto 255/35/20, bfg kdw 245/40,etc. A 245 or 255 width would be good. I wouldn't do this, but would you consider doing 19's up front and 20 rears?

screw it put some 30s on the sucka cuz no matter what your cars going to still look stupid and you might as well put a big azz wing on there too oh and maybe some neon lights for the running boreds oh yea dont forget the mexaco flag
