Anyone know what an X plan is? I was talking with my uncle this weekend who used a relative's X plan to buy his F150. Got a 36k truck for 26k after the plan and rebates. Anyone know how much an X plan would discount?

  • Sponsors (?)

its a set price on invoice, waives any dealer fees and is either a plan that can be sponsored by ford employee's or is for employee's of partner companies. generally its $100 under invoice

I work for Fedex and am on the Ford Xplan. Ford employees are on the A-plan I think. When we got my husband's 06 GT I logged onto the Ford site with the password and the savings would have been about $1500 for the car we wanted, but no dealers would honor it since the new gt's are selling so easily. The dealer you go to has a choice whether to honor the discount or not, but it is a fairly good discount. We ended up having to pay full price, though.

When I got mine, the dealership was selling at invoice and i have the x-plan through my work, which they gave me $3k off the invoice (looking at my paperwork when i bought the car, $3k was listed as 'rebate'). i got a pretty nice deal i think.

i don't think it'd be a waste of time...probably wouldn't take much time...just go in & ask what you'd get for x-plan.

My employer has details listed about every discount we get...ask your work what the discount is.

I kinda got lucky, they asked for nothing really for me to get the X-plan..i was surprised & confused haha. I just said that I get a discount through work...& he was like "okay..". :nice:

Call your dealirship. They have a list of all the companies that get x-plan pricing. They will tell you if your company qualifies.

I looked at using x-plan when I was going to buy a pickup, but the Chysler Affiliate Rewards program was a much better discount plan then the Ford x-plan, so I bought a Dodge Ram instead.
