I've searched all threads & everyone keeps coming up with all kinds of recomendations on different synthetic ATFs. I know that just about any synthetic ATF will work, but what I really want to know is that if anyone has switched specifically to Royal Purple's SYNCHROMAX to see any better results???
OK, has anyone switched to Royal Purple Synchromax w/positive results in their T5?

I dont think it's real commonly used. Absent a slew of replies, I might search about it and PM folks who said they run it (I do that sometimes when wanting feedback on a product - it's funny hitting someone with a PM and they havent even been on here in a year.

its kinda a wierd consept to use something in a product that was built long before that syn oil came out. What are you hoping to gain by going to the synthetic oil? i doubt there is much power to be gained there. manuals are not huge power train hp robber's. i also doubt that product will protect your t-5 from power shifting which i would say is the cause of most t-5 failures.

I also like the synthetics. We upgrade and go beyond what Ford did originally (which was cost based). If someone lives in an extreme climate, the innate properties of a synthetic can help. I like it for 110*F weather.
