Cobra Emblems

Hey guys i have a quandry, i bought some cobra emblems( for the front fenders) a while ago and was goin to put them on i think they would look good, and i want people to know this ain't your fathers fox body, not like the exaust note dosen't care care of that but, here is my car what do you guys think, would the emblems make me a poser, the car also has a h/c/i(cobra) and a mm coil over kit

Unless your car is a Cobra, JUST SAY NO TO COBRA EMBLEMS!!! Those of us that own Cobra look down on posers.

I hate when people put damn cobra emblems on non cobras. Yes it makes you a poser. Dont do it. If you car is really making power, people will hear it regardless of what exhaust your running. You can always tell the diff between a motor thats running to its best n/a potential and one that isnt.

I have them on..I 'get away with it' only because canada used to label some GT's with cobra stickers...had I not had the car wetsanded AFTER the emblems were installed..they would not still be on the car. I am in the middle of desinging a billet 306 emblem set but as of right now the finished set is likely going to stay on paper for a few months...I would not put them on.

Cobra's are unique and nice. if every GT had emblems on them, that wouldnt make a real Cobra very unique would it? Its like putting Shelby on a stock GT.... people are going to point fingers when they see one thing and find out that it isnt what they think it is.... be a GT and be happy trying to be nice without calling ya names.....

The only thing thats worse than putting cobra emblems on a regular 5.0 is putting them on an automatic 5.0.

I have no problem with putting the Cobra body kit on a Mustang, but leave off the badges. I put it in the same class as a Honda driver putting a "Type R" badge on their car. Who are you kidding or trying to impress? The people that don't know the difference don't matter and the people that do know the difference think you're a tard for doing it. Sure, it's your car, but do you want people pointing and laughing?

although you say the car runs like a rabid ape, i just dont see the point in badging it cobra. mind you this is coming from someone who frowns upon classic shelby replicas, ac cobra kit cars, eleanores, etc. if its not a shelby/saleen/cobra/roush/whatever then dont try to say it is. at least if it had a cobra kit, or was a cobra replica then maybe....but with a xenon kit...who you trying to fool? i actually like the look of your car so im not knocking that...but you say it has cobra h/c/i....whatever. its still not a cobra. im not saying it wont look good with them on there...in fact i like the cobra badges on a fox but if its not a cobra then thats horses#it.its just silly to walk around calling a kitty cat a tiger, even if the kitty can kick the tigers ass.

That emblem represents the Mustang Cobra. Your car is NOT a Mustang Cobra. It's a Mustang LX.

5.0 emblems would look fine.

i just meant it has a cobra intake, it has dart heads and a e cam i got the respones i thought i would i just did not like th stupid "auto comment" we all know the aod suck and my sig will tel you i am working on it well i guess you guys talked me out of it, i not sure why i wanted to put them on even though i know it is wrong i will put them on my mazda 2300 (this one is worse than my clear tails tread, They didn't make it on the car either thank stangnet)

I say-leave the 5.0 emblems, if its not a cobra then dont add them. A lot of people appreciate a clean, looking stang, if ya wanna put emblems-Do it under the hood-If thats the case. i wouldnt do that either-though, The only COBRA emblem i have is on my intake, and it comes like that, the cobra plate-being its a cobra intake.

P.S. think of it this way, How manay honda's add GT-R to them, get it? or R this, R that, VTEC this, Vtec that!
