hard shifting?

well i jsut got my spec stage 2 clutch and aluminum flywheel in a few days ago, i took it easy the first 150 miles to let it break in, but i noticed that when i shift hard and try slamming gears, that it doesnt wanna go in at first... the only time it really does it was when i had the clutch adjsuted to grab from the floor, could the clutch still be in the break in period?? any suggestions please fill me in...thanks

Sounds to me like the clutch wasnt letting all the way out...

Well i would think after only 150 miles, the clutch is still breaking in but it should't be causing that. Try to adjust the pedal or something and see if it helps

Adjust it so it doesn't grab from the floor!!! Maybe it wasn't meant to be adjusted that far! Did you get the complete adjuster kit with cable and quadrant also? Your clutch should be broken in by now, especially if that 150 miles was done with plenty of shifting and not just cruising. Every shop guy tells me to take it easy first time out, then it will be all set.

i have it adjsuted fine for now...and yeah i did get the whole clutch adjuster kit.

well now it only does it when its in the high rpm's (6400)...any suggestions?
