Summit now offers TB's for our cars...

Summit is awesome.

The only Summit part that I have ordered (that was made by Summit) was my smog eliminator pulley. It's extremely nice.

You think that HV water pump would improve cooling efficiency at all?

It's funny that you guys think that 94-95 Mustangs are "red-headed step children". I was very into Merkurs. (I have an XR4Ti with a 5.0/T5 swap.) Walk into a "discount" parts store and say "Merkur" and watch the guys face glaze over. At least they know what a Mustang is. LOL!!!!!

Hell yeah, I had a Merkur. That was in my "2.3 turbo" phase. I had ported big valve head, mystery lopey cam, 50 trim t3/t4, big vam, log header, FMIC, and a SS 3" downpipe. It was fun as hell suprising the crap out of cars that 'should' have been faster than me. . . . . I kinda miss the 'Bastard Child'. . .

I really don't want to rain on your parade, but when someone asked George Klass why Accufab did not make a 65mm+ TB for the SN cars he said it was becasue their testing indicated there would be little to no performance advantage (due to the upper intake I think) and that he would not take anyone's money on false pretense.

Just a thought..............

Sucks it cost more... but is has that little disc pop riveted on the fins.

Flow Cool sells the disc as a seperate item with the pop rivets. I didn't see it in Summit's list though. I keep one hanging on the garage wall. It's just galvanized sheet metal, so you could make one yourself too.

LOL - notice I said THAT and not A little disc. :D

My stock replacement had a bent fin, and the new pump came with an extra gasket to help with clearance. So it all worked out. By the time I got a full refund from Oreillys on a 9 month old pump, and used up some Summit Bucks. I wasn't out much. :)

I read that in an old tb post and found that very intresting. The post said it had to do with the EGR being located on the throttle inlet.

For stock cars/stock intakes, sure...but a larger throttle body will definitely give you more power on a heads/cam/intake car or a power adder car. Slow5.0's experience definitely is a good example of this.
