BEST AND/OR WORST CAR YOU EVER OWNED

The worst car I have ever owned was an 86 Pontiac 6000. The driver’s door was welded shut.
The best car was an 88 t-bird. That thing was scary fast.

Best: Current 93 LX 5.0 Mostly stock, not the fastest or coolest looking car I've had, but this car has NEVER left me stranded, been my daily driver for 4 years. Longest I've ever owned a car. :SNSign:

Worst: Oh God, 1980 Dodge Colt. :rlaugh: Think it was a theft recovery, paid $300 for it. No keys. Toggle switches to start it. No headlight switch, had 2 wires sticking out of the dash, stuck a safety pin through 'em to make the lights come on. Sunroof that was installed backwards, had to close it at 30mph or the wind would tear it and your scalp off. Flat black with bannana yellow showing through where the paint was peeling off. 4spd, 1st and 2nd gear took turns not working.

BEST: Probally my Silverado for the utility of it, great daily driver. My mustang I have had more passion for.

WORSE: Probally the Camaro, because all that is in it, and I'm just not into it. It an awesome car, but I just can't get into it. My other worse was my old Grand Am, but what should I expect for $800.

Best is my stang.

My best car would have to be my 91 LX 5.0. Never left me stranded and the smoked clutch was purely my fault. Put a hard 100k on it and it ran great.

My worst car would have to be a 1981 Volkswagen Dasher station wagon I was given when I was 15. Notice I said given cause I sure wouldn't have bought that pos. But it was better than riding the bus to school. Had a bad water pump that was such a pita to replace it was easier to keep two 1 gallon milk containers in the car full of water. Put a gallon into the car in the morning and then a gallon in when leaving school. Repeat daily. It was a diesel and the glow plug relay was bad so you had to crank on it when it was cool outside. During the FL winters I had to put a battery charger on it every night. There was something funky with the electrical system that would only allow you to start it about every 3 days with the key so we had to put a push button starter on it. The car was a real POS but I had one and most of my friends didn't.

Best - 1993 Mazda MX3 - I bought the car with 62k. I drove the crap out of it. It never got under 32mpg. I changed the plugs at ~115k before a road trip and it got 38mpg. I sold it to my roommate with 130k on it. In 68k miles of ownership, I had never changed the oil.

My roommate changed the oil and timing belt the first day he bought it. He traded it in with 165k and had never changed the oil again. The car had 1 oil change in 103k. The car just wouldn't die.

Worst - 2002 Pontiac Trans AM M6 - I bought this car new. I honestly never drove it hard. It was just my daily driver and I raced all my Mustangs that I owned at the same time. The T56 went out at 5500. It was lemon lawed and bought back by GM with 11,500 miles on it. In 6k miles, it lost 6 T56 trannys. The was something wrong that they never found. POS!

best - close between my 1985 camaro 2.8 v6 that takes my abuse and has the cheapest costing car parts ever, and my 1986 lincoln towncar that ran smooth and strong and luxurious every day leaking 7 litres of oil, overheating 14 times in a week, still ran smooth. insane what that car took. was super fun, everyone loved it. people would fall asleep in the back seat, girls would ask me to drop them off at the bar. looked like a pimp 24/7. people i worked with but never met would stop me at the club and be like hey guys its the guy with the huge towncar.

worst car. 1986 pontiac fiero. parts wayy to expensive and the thing was just awkward to work on. mine was a zero option vehicle. not even a trunk light. 180$ for a tierod is retarded. broke down alot. fear of dying in firey blaze.

BEST - My 2001 Mustang GT and my 2002 V6 Mustang
I really love both of these cars. The V6 Mustang
has been my daily driver now for the last 5 years.
It's been driven thru 5 severe winters & summers.
The GT is still my garage queen with only 2,500
original miles on it. I have been driving it this
summer to put some mileage on it. The GT is my
BEST and FAVORITE car of the 2 Mustangs which
I currently own.

WORST - 1981 VW Rabbit Diesel. The entire dashboard
used to rattle violently when the car was
idling. Everything on the Rabbit used to freeze
and never worked when it was cold out. The
fuel pump was no good and cost $800 to
replace, the front suspension was replaced 3
times, the electrical system was problematic.
The hood latch broke and I couldn't open up
the hood. The plastic anti-freeze bottle sprung
a leak and the engine seized. I ended up giving
the Rabbit away for free to a mechanic after
it sat idle in my driveway for over 3 years. I
owned it from 1981 to 1986. This car was
purchased brand new and it was a POS. All
the problems that I've described to you
occurred after this car was involved in a 6
car pile-up and it was rear ended. The entire
rear end of the car was smashed in. The
insurance company didn't total the car. That
was a big mistake because it broke down
every month and we had to pay an everage of
$250-$300 every other month for major
repairs.
