Hello! My name is Kris, and I'm very new to the forum, but not new to owning a Stang.

I have noticed a problem in my steering and need help diagnosing the situation. Every time I turn my wheel slightly to the left or to the right there is a small moaning noise, I have never heard it before and my dad noticed it too when he was driving my car the other day. If any of ya'll have the slightest idea of what it could be and how to fix it your help would be greatly appreciated!! :D

Hey guys, sorry I am not quick to responding classes are keeping me busy right now. But I will visit the Ford place here in Sylva and let them look at her. But thank you for your help!!

I'm not quite sure if my car is still under warrenty because I am up at school and live 5 hours away from home, so I she has well over 25,000 miles on her already.

THANKS AGAIN :D

Ahh, Sylva, a little piece of God's Country

GO CATAMOUNTS

Back on the topic, my wife's '04 V6 had the power steering pump replaced under warranty, without us even asking to have it done, while it was in to have the steering rack bushings replaced. Prior to that it made some noise, but not an unusual amount in my opinion compared to other Fords. Anyway, since it was replaced it has been much quieter so it may be worth checking into if your car is a 2004 model.

Hey, there is nothing wrong with spending a little time at wal-mart!! Or a lot of time at Wal-Mart...
