..for $14k? reason I ask is because I am seriously considering selling it to get into a s197 model. What would be your reasons to/not to buy it? What would be a good selling price to start? its a premium gt (leather in VERY good condition), no cracks or scrathes anywhere on the interior, the cars exterior has a total of 4 scratches all smaller than 1'' and not noticable unless you look for them, tires are in good shape with 79,001 on the odo.

Was going to say 11-12k range. Might have better luck selling what you can while returning the car to stock. Then go somewhere like CarMax and see what they will give you for it. Nice looking car though.

I tried kbb but their site wasnt working..ill get on edmunds and try them. I went to the local dealer to get an trade in value and they were going to give me 9k for it about 3months ago. Gt's are expensive where I live, you'll find them at dealers for 17-19 with 30-50k miles and those are 100% stock. Ill start at 12,500 and go from there I guess. Reason I want a new one is because I see it as being a better car overall. More power, better handling, way nicer interior, and did I say more power? I just dont want to have a car that has less horse power than a new camry either...

I just sold mine for $14,600 with 42,000 miles on it. I had hard time getting rid of it. Very very clean car. Nothing wrong with it.

I would not look at what dealers are doing. Dealers wanted $16,500-18,000 for GT's similar to mine...but I dont think anyone was buying them.

Besides, this is a terrible time to try and get rid of a mustang. Everyone wants an SUV or 4x4. Even in Charlotte, and we might get 2 or 3 inches of snow for the entire year. Wait until the spring and try it then.

Good luck though.

I dont think we have that problem, it rarely snows here lol and the gts that ive seen at the dealers do sell. I dont know for what price but they sell fairly quick. I got this from NADA http://www2.nadaguides.com/default.aspx?LI=1-21-1-5013-0-0-0&l=1&w=21&p=1&f=5014&c=15&m=1065&d=469&y=2002&vi=49717&mi=79000&o=75|59|25|54&da=-1&nx=1
