door adjar noise on constant. please help

Hello
for some strange reason i was diving down the backroads of my town when all of a sudden the noise of when your door is left open comes on and will not turn off. now it is an 89 notchback and is in alright condition but it is old. is it possible that something is wrong with wiring and it can be dissconected or does it mean a certian problem with somthing. does anybody have any idea what this may be or if its just wiring can the bell noise wire be unplugged from somwhere i would apreciate if you could tell me where to disconect it or send a diagram to my e-mail.

Did the domelight come on too?

It may just be the switch in the door jamb that's gone bad. It's a cheap and easy fix.

lol well the domelight is disconnected i dont know why my dad did it for some reason. it may be the door jamb has gone bad because now it will come on and about 5 minutes later it stops lol so i dont know whats goin on im not to concerned about it if it persist ill just disconnect the speaker the noise is coming from

Or disconnect the plug at the back of the jamb switch

cut the wire, i have that problem in a car awhile back, my buddy cut the wire to it, and it hasn't bothered me since then.
