Does anyone have a Richmond 5 or 6 speed?

Just wondering if anyone here has or know anyone with either the Richmond 5 or 6 speed trans in a 67 - 68 Stang. My original plan was to use a tko 500 or 600 behind my 390, but with all the talk lately about bad driveline angles and cutting of floorplans to make it all fit properly, I have been rethinking my original plan. I really don't want to cut up the tranny tunnel in a rust free 68 S-code GT Fastback unless their is no other option. Thanks.

Thanks for the link. Good info. I can see a problem with the shifter and clearance with my stock console, but I see on Richmonds web site that long has a shifter handle that it says will work with the stock console. I will have to do some more checking on this. How is the trans working out, is it worth doing the conversion? How is the shifting effort? Thanks.

Long Shifters has different shift levers for the ROD. You might want to check them out they may have what you need.

The trans is awesome. Shifting is awsome, gear seletion (ratio) is awesome, and overdrive is great!
