Radio isnt getting power, what could it be?

I think you should have 2 power wires to the head unit. one powered up only with the key in position 1 or 2 and one always live. you dont have eather? You were using a test light or a meter right? if so i go with what hissin50 said.

I found the constant power wire, and yes its getting power. The accessory one is not. I pulled everything out in hopes just to trace that wire back to wherever it comes from but it conects to a milliong different things. Is the amp looking thing behind the head unit the factory amp? Can it be removed? Also, the fuse on the back of the head unit is good as well.

OUt of the sony deck... yellow is constant and red is acc or switched power.

GO buy a mustang radio wiring harness like 10-15 bucks at wally world or... $18.49 at a local Best Buy :)
Wiring Harness

... the wires from the deck will wire right to that harness. the wires that you wont use on the purchased mustang harness will be the ORange(Illum) and Blue(Remote Turn-on) <-Unless you have subs, that goes to your remote wire from the amp and a Blue/White(power ant) ...cap those three off.

*zip tie or in a few spots tape around the wires you connected so when you push them in behind the radio they don't get all tangled

..and yes what you asked about was the factory amp, you can unplug and remove it. because the new harness will bypass it.
the connector ends of that harness will match color to the connector they go to that were in the car. plug them in.

total time wiring: approx 5min
don't forget to plug your antenna back in

If not tracing for an open, I'd just grab a new switched power source or run a new wire from fuse to the deck.

Good luck.

Glad to hear it's fixed. How did an alarm fuse blowing keep your radio from working? The radio fuse likely powered the alarm accessory-sensing circuit.
