Bullitt Rims with this conversion kit?

Will 17" Bullitts fit on my car with this kit?

Not without wheel spacers. Those wheels require the SN95 spindles.

A friend of mine ran ford bullit wheels with that style conversion, but he could not run the bullit center caps.

Possibly. But the wheels may stick out so far they hit the fenders over bumps.


That 5-lug conversion kit is basically the Mark 7 rotor and ranger axles and drum kit.

Do you have the bullitt wheels? Or access to someone with a set? You could go to a parts store, buy a Mark 7 rotor and test fit it out. I beleive the OEM bullitts and aftermarkets fit differently. You may be able to mount the wheel, but the center cap won't fit at all.

Just do the real conversion, you don't want those crappy rotors and to add a wheel spacer

Exactly. I put a pals Bullitts on mine and the center cap would not fit. And it looks like total crap if you don't run the center caps. But then again Bullitts look like crap on a red fox, imo.

can u guys point me in a direction of a kit that works. Ford sells one for over a grand, would that be the one i would need? im considering a bullitt theme with my car which includes painting my car dark highland green and throwing some bullitts on there.

To keep this tech the reason they wont fit is a clearance issue? does it invlove backspacing? I am gonna get aftermarket ones not Ford OEM.

Its all in what you want to do. To be able to run about any 5 lug wheel and to get better braking do the entire SN95 swap.

It is a clearance issue but its not with the wheel its with the rotor's "hat" or "center hub" whatever you want to call it. It is too tall.

OK here's the deal. I ran those for 3 years w/o any problems. 3/8" spacers on the front, the wheel did not stick out, shoulder style lug nuts that reach into the wheel for more stud thread retention, modified the dust and center caps. You could not tell any difference. Worked fine.

maybe, if you used the SN95 axles and brakes. my 17x9's have a much wider track than stock and there is plenty of clearance. you will still have to ditch your quadshocks though. its gonna be tight either way.
