Back In The Game

20K for a keeper car isn't so bad. Back in '03, Mach 1's for often selling for sticker when they were first introduced. I traded a 2001 GT that I had about $2000 in equity in on mine, and just paid it off last year. No problems at all with it other than having to replace the rear shocks and front cowl vent under warranty, and at 42K it's running better than new.

A car is worth whatever someone is willing to pay. If you like it and it's what YOU wanted...then it's all good. Congrats on the purchase and welcome back to the stang scene. :D

I just paid 13,000 for an 02 almost just like yours. Im my neck of the woods mustangs are hard to find so the prices are a little higher than other places.

On another note, one thing that really pisses me off is I bought my car in a different county - there tax rate is 5.2%. I go to register the car today and they make you pay the difference in tax from where you live!!! Its 7.3 where I live so I have to pay 2.1% back in tax! That is total BS!

its just money.

ford seems to need it more than me lately anyways.

alright, i didnt buy it from a ford place, but i thought it would be a funny jab.

i picked her up tonight. it was truly sad knowing i was taking my truck on our final run together, but as soon as i hit the pavement with the GT, i was happy again.

i didnt tell my girl i bought it either. she's huge into stangs as well. i picked her up at work and walked to the front door. she asked me where i parked and i hit the lock button to sound the horn. she **** when she saw it didnt come from my truck.

and yes, i took it in the ass with the deal i made. but i took it smiling :D
