I put these in today at my girlfriend's dad's tire shop, took me (w/ help on front springs) about 5 hours + alignment

Here's the result, so far 1" drop and 5/8" drop in back, these C-Springs should settle down at 1 1/4" in front and a solid 1" in back after 2 weeks or so.

Definitly has the old muscle car stance of lower in front right now cuz there isnt very much weight on the back to make the springs settle fast. Should even out a lil more

Nice. not to be rude, but your side exhaust kinda looks odd. It would defintely look better with the svo skirts, and/or a single Oval Non-chrome Outlets.
(If it were mine I'd ditch the beard too,and add cobra headlight, and it would look awsome.)

i like it, i fabricated the cat-back and everything myself with pre bent pipes - the tips arn't chrome it's just polished alluminum which i picked out; it's not like it came with the car so im not going to change it. I think it's unique, im more of a function over form kinda guy - screw new plastic side skirts that need to be painted.

I think the overall look of the car is great, including exhaust and rims. The exhaust is all that much more impressive considering you fab'd it yourself :nice:

Looks great. My springs did the same thing when I first installed them as in they were settled a lot more in the front then the rear. The rears should gradually settle over time...just hope they don't start to sag like the older sportlines. As far as the exhaust, it looks awesome. Im not a fan of ground effects for side exhaust except for roushes plus they would make it a lot worse for clearance. I hope I don't ever have to see you post about flattening your tips. I've been pretty lucky compared to others i've heard about. Did you need different alignment plates?

not only am i not really into the circle dimpled foglights of the cobra, but im not into being a fobra. If they made a decent front facia for my car i'd look into it, but untill then im not sticking a paint matched $900 piece of plastic on my car just for looks. BTW, zinc, i have never had poblem w/ my tips that seem to always be high enough - it's my cat's that get in the way esp. w/ speed bumps. And, no, i dindn't get new C/C plates, but my camber was off almost 2 degrees which will change as it settles and if you have aftermarket i think you can adjust it perfect; my toe degree was fine after the install

Looks good! I like the chrome rims, side exhaust....and I really like the raked stance.....doesn't look like every other mustang out there.

So for the real question....how's that thing handle now? Or does everyone just do suspension mods for the drop these days?
