Painted, clear coated and installed strut brace on Roush 427R

I just went through the process of installing a strut brace. I wanted it to match the factory color.
I am amazed at what you can do with spray paint today. My process was:

3 coats primer
light steel wool
4 coats Redfire Pearl
4 coats clear coat
Optimum polish
Red Moose Glaze, 2 coats
Paint sealant

is that a BMR? it looks like there is a ton of clearance between the rearward bar and the engine. is taht an optical illusion or is there a lot of room?

There is some room but it's not a great deal.
