can the tube from the headers to the upper intake be capped off....i can't find an extention tube for it....so i was wondering if i can cap it....

You can do it if you can find a cap that will fit the threads and seal properly. Its been done, but I don't recall what thread size/pitch you need. Are you going to delete the EGR valve as well then?

If I can find it I have a brand new egr tube, that I never installed. I sold the car.
If I can locate it I will sell it to you for $25 shipped.

i put in a 1/2" spacer so i need it to fit with that....

if the tube is broken just take one of the ends and a penny and that'll cap it off quite nicely and since its copper you should get a good seal

boy, i'm glad i got fox headers.

you may want to make sure your egr tubes aren't broken. mine were all this time and i never noticed till we pulled the engine out.

ok...i cut the egr tube...i got a 1" copper(water) tube that is 1/2" round , took some plumber tape put the tube between where i cut the tube and used rubber cement to help seal...i hope it works....
