Choosing a Tuner?

Ive read many posts about Brenspeed and Bamachips, both seem like a quality investment either way. My question is how do you choose between them? They both offer Tunes with your xcal/pred unit. I think im leaning towards Brenspeed because he offers new tunes for any equipment you purchase thro them with the CAI/Tuner package. It appears to me that Brenspeed offers more aftermarket parts then Bamachips do. IE more exhaust gears suspension and so forth.
Another Positive for them is they are in Indiana only half a day or so drive if a major problem should occur, where as bamachips is down in alabama.( in near chicago ill) It would appear that gettin the cai/tuner from brenspeed would save me more in the long run as future mods are installed. Their Prices are faily similiar.
I would prefer to stick with one company for the most part so they begin to learn my car and goals and i get to know Them. Ive done something similiar for my Lightning using one company for all of my go fast parts ( they were recomended from the members of my Lightning Club and so far so good). They do mustangs as well so i was considering using them but they specialize in L's and i think i would prefer someone who specialize's in Mustangs for my car.
Any input you guys have as to why you chose one over the other would be appreciated. From all the positive posts ive read i feel either would take care of me. Just trying to help define my choice. My Credit card is almost repaired from my last round of truck parts and im itching to begin on the mustang shortly.

I have never spoke with or bought from Bama so I don't know about them.

Brenspeed however has been nothing but great!

1. The ordering process is smooth.
2. Order tracking is exceptional. I love to watch my parts move across the country!
3. Follow up is very good. I was missing the 18mm bolt that comes with the Steeda UDP and the didn't hesitate to send me one right away.
4. I emailed them the other day about some OBX headers on ebay and they replied within hours. It was stuff they were not even selling! LOL!
5. I like the simplicity of their site.
6. One time I had a mix up with my credit card and they called me to let me know instead of just cancelling my order.
7. Kewl vid's and how to's on the site!

The following has been a unpaid promotional announcement!
:nice:

A satisfied BAMA customer here. His customer service it TOP NOTCH. It's hard to be the free tune updates when you add more mods to your car. And with the him the mods can be bought anywhere and he'll still retune you.

I'm a big BamaChips supporter, Doug has been GREAT to me.

1. my order process was smooth.
2. I was able to track my order as well
3. Follow up is good. He's answered the phone EVERY time I've called, and I've talked to him on the phone for as much as 30 minutes at a time.
4. BamaChips also gives free retunes. Doesn't matter if you bought parts from Doug or not. I've had 3 tune updates from Doug, he even remembers my first name when I call.
5. Doug will call you ANY time a problem arises with tunes/parts/billing.

Doug also won me over for GOOD with one experience I had with him. When receiving my 2nd tune update from him, my XCal took a dump on me. After speaking with SCT, it turned out that I had some freak hardware malfunction in my XCal. I didn't even purchase my XCal from BamaChips, but Doug still gave me HIS RMA# to send my XCal to SCT for repair. He then requested that SCT send the XCal to him and he would reload my tunes himself, and he then sent my XCal to me on his own dime. That is great customer service if you ask me, considering that all Doug had made from me at that time was $50 for a freakin internet tune LOL.

But I won't bash Brenspeed. They have great tunes too, and honestly you won't go wrong with EITHER one. Honestly, if it were me, the fact that Brenspeed is so close to you would probably be my deciding factor. I'd just go to him and get a dyno tune to start with.
