YES!!!!!!! I will waste hours and hours trying to bring my 1/4 times down and adjusting the suspension to hook up better. Once I figured out to powershift I was able to take .3 off my times. Front wheel drivers and all wheel drivers dont like to be powershifted tho. lololol I cant wait to get back to school now and rip on forza now hahaha. It is a very addicting game I might say.

i like forza so much more than GT 4. its much more realistic imo

:stupid:
The features in Forza are just better. You can paint the car, change bumpers & hoods, do engine swaps, and don't forget the damage. I also think the physics are better, except for the fact that you sometimes bounce off the walls like they're made of rubber.
Gran Turismo 4 has a better car selection though.

Funny this thread came up. I was just thinking about playing some Forza for the first time in a couple months before my class tonight.

yeah I forgot to mention, it only works on RWD cars. If you do it right in a turboed car, you wont lose any boost.

Need For Speed CARBON!!! IMO beats any car game I have yet to play. I have spent countless hours taking over the city and will likely spend many more. Maybe I am wrong or am missing out on better experiences but I seem to enjoy this game and spend more time on it than any other I have yet to play.
Has anyone out there played the newst DRIVER I forget the name but I almost bought it yesterday. It is newer than DRIVER 3 but not called DRIVER 4. It looked pretty good on the box anyway lol. It says over 80 vehicles to drive and includes motorcycles. I will likely pick it up in the next couple days, I hope I am not disappointed. My last waste of money was a Crash and Burn series.....it is not an old game 2005-2006 I think, but after about 5 minutes I realized I had wasted my money.

Is Forza available for PS2? I might hafta look into that.

The Gran Tourismo series never quite jived with me because I can't stand a game that has all these super-duper realistic physics BUT NO DAMAGE. I mean, how, exactly, is that realistic? The Undercover Brother just recently proved that you can NOT, in fact, drive a Ferrari into a concrete wall at WOT and simply bounce off with the mere consequence of a little bit of lost speed. :D

I picked up FlatOut 2 last night on a whim. TOTA LPIECE OF CRAP DRIVING GAME. I spend all of my time in lap courses fishtailing back and forth to no end (even in a friggin' Honda Civic clone, which is just plain weird), the derbies are pretty much impossible to survive, the "event" races are mediocre at best, and the "stunt" levels are the only somewhat redeeming factor. I spent more time launching my driver at bowling pins and through rings of fire than I did actually driving any of the crapola "cars." The damage LOOKS cool, graphically, but is still cheeseball in realism.

TOCA 3 was pretty cool, to an extent, but it got old on me in a jiffy. If you're all hadcore about just plain ol' purist racing games, it's probably among the best out there. Me, I like to be able to run over stuff and slam into other folks without getting black-flagged. :D

Driver: Parallel Lines (basically Driver 4) was okay, but the missions were a bit too easy and the whole game came off seeming like a blatant ripoff of GTA3, but set in the '70's. Plus, while you could jump and swim in Driver 3, you can't do either in D:pL ... WTF is that all about?!? It's above average, but I ditched it after a month.

I'm twiddling my thumbs until GTA4 comes out. I like being able to destroy my car at will, ditch it, then jack some other poor schmuck for his and abuse that for awhile. Plus, if someone beats you in a race, you can always pull them from their car and dice them with a chainsaw... :nice:

WHEN, GOD, WHEN WILL MANKIND RELEASE AN UP-TO-DATE VERSION OF THE CLASSIC "CARMAGEDDON" GAME SERIES?! *le sigh*

Definitely a fun game but nowhere near a racing sim like forza and GT4. I prefer the realistic games over NFS anyday but thats not to say that NFS isn't fun as well.

Darkwriter- forza is only on XBOX.

Bobafett123- i didn't like that show. All of the cars broke. One car was shipped to the show broken. That asain guy was the only one on that show with any skill. None of the cars were as good as the corvette. But they all broke, so the girl with a shi*t-ton of makeup won.

Forza 2 for 360 is going to be the sickest car game ever. They are going to have a very detailed garage, where you can change mostly anything about your car. They are going to have tons of online tournaments. Didnt play forza much, I was more into project gotham, But I will be getting forza 2

I agree. I recenly bought a 360/NFS: Most Wanted bundle. I bought the 360 almost solely for the upcoming Forza 2 and figured since the NFS was pretty cheap I'd give it a shot. I had my doubts at first but its actually a pretty fun game, especially with the pursuit aspect. It is seriously limited as far as content and customiztion also. Defintely not for someone looking for ultimate realism but still good action.
