i have heard in the past that it is possible to use shock/struts from fox body(87~93) for SN95(more like 99+ GT) is that true?

This is true, alot of people use the fox body struts/shocks after lowering their cars because they are shorter and therefore provide more piston travel of the shocks because of the lowered ride height. Simple explaination, but I think you get the point.

I dont think your going to find the prices to be much different between the two. I am assuming that since you have your sportlines on order that you are looking to replace the shock/struts a the same time? You can go here for a comparison. http://www.maximummotorsports.com/tokico.asp

There are other places to find them a little cheaper than that but not by much. Tire rack has some good prices as well as shox.com/
