tranny yoke issues..

ok i dumped my clutch and my yoke broke,,,actually the shaft that goes in to the tranny sheered in half and i am wondering if the teeth on an 87 t5 tranny that the yoke goes into is a 31 spline...im asking because i just found a 31 spline yoke but im not anywhere near my car...so is a 31 toot yoke going to work on a t5 tranny out of an 87 lx 50?thanks

i think its 28 on the T5's but i will check to night on my spare on and post back tomarrow and let you know for sure.

T5's have a 28 spline output shaft.
