I have been having some real issues with my power lately. You can hit the throttle and there is very little response, and then a few seconds later it might just jump forward. It's almost like somebody is pushing on the front end, and then lets go. It's got new plugs, wires, and dist cap. I put a cold air intake on the car last night because the old air filter housing had cracked and was just kind of sitting open. i'm wondering if maybe the mass air flow sensor could be dirty? Any ideas would be great as this is a very frustrating problem. Thanks!

oxygen sensor... had a similar problem in my 95 gt. i changed the fuel filter, pump, plugs, and it was still running as if there was a hand holding it back until about 3500-4000 rpm then it was take off, usually sideways
