super Chargers, which one?

Couldn't say.....I can't see it being any taller than the stock intake (with optional cover), but I really can't say for sure. You'll probably want to ask a member who's got one for that answer, or better yet, contact Saleen directly.

Well your not going to get 5-600 hp at the wheels without a complete rebuild of your block and without running boost higher then at least 12psi. I have the kenne bell on my car as a daily driver and I get about 420 to the wheels which is just about how much you would want to put on stock internals. I prefer kenne bell the most, but then again I am a little biased.
I'm at 500rwhp with a Saleen on a JDM Stage II kit and stock internals.
Granted you'll need longtubes, upgraded fuel system, and a few other mods but it can be done. I have put over 12,000 miles on the car since the install with no issues other than broken tensioners due to powershifting a manual trans. All of the above blowers have the same issues if you do a search.

Don't get me wrong, the build as nice a kit as the next guy, but their horrible customer service would be enough to turn me off of their product. And until that improves, they'll never see any of my money. :)

I'm not going to comment on one SC vs. another. There are as many answers as there are people to give them. Purchase a supercharger that fills the niche you're looking for.

I do however, want to comment about the KB customer service aspect. I like many others have come across some poor customer service from KB. I've recited the mantra to many over the past couple of years. Recent dealings though, are leading me to believe that they're making a good effort to change this. I've been helping my neighbor with selecting and preparing for a kit on his 03 GT (I'm not "schooled" on these cars. The reason for all the calls). We've been on the horn with KB 6 or 8 times so far and have had some great conversations with them. They've answered all of the "stupid" questions we've come up with so far and helped us with asking question that we'd not thought for neglected to ask.

I mention this because it's a HUGE difference from what I'd received when I called them, researching for my car a few years ago. I actually ended up buying from Bob Kennedy instead of KB because the man took the time to explain things and helped be custom build the kit for my intended purpose.

That's all I've got so far. I can add more once we see how their "after sale" support is.

It's not to say that their customer service is fixed but so far, the pre-sale information is one hell of a lot better than it was when I bought mine.

I'm only responding to give you my perspective on centri, specifically procharger.

I've got a P1sc intercooled running 11 lbs and I believe I made the right choice for what I wanted. A 500 to 600 hp car can be a daily driver, but your power won't be useable on street tires, not at the cars full potential at least. You'll be a radial/slick car 24x7 pretty much after 450 to 475.

Here's a few shots of how my procharger came together and a video of me doing a heater so you can hear how it sounds.

I know the whipple and KB run an external cooler, does the Saleen? I have seen no reference to this and I have been looking around. I know brenspeed sells and installs various stages of saleen sc and they install for only $650!!! And the stage 4 kit is only around 6 grand. So I can get an electric h20 pump, the complete saleen kit and have it installed for 7K.
If anyone has had one installed by brenspeed I would welcome your comments as well.

Thanks
Lane

I'm not sure what you mean by an "external cooler"? Are you referring to their use of a "heat exchanger"? All of the modern Positive Displacement kits that I know of that utilize any form of intercooling utilize some version of an air/water set up. Usually some sort of Spearco style "brick" as the core, mounted just after the discharge port of the blower that's there to pull the heat out of the air charge. The temperatures of the brick are controlled via an externally mounted heat exchanger situated up front for catching incoming air through the grill opening, to normalize coolant temperatures after the event.

The only positive displacement kit I can think of that doesn't do it this way is the OEM set up on the earlier Thunderbird SC's and Supercharged XR7's.

Yes....assuming it's the intercooled version of the Saleen kit, it will also utilize a front mounted heat exchanger in it's design just as the Intercooled versions of the FRPP and Kenne Bell do.....as does the Roush and Magnacharger kits.

Saleen Heat Exchanger....as seen here!
