anyone own vortech y-trim

im only getting 6 to 7lbs out of my v-7 y-trim with a 3.00 pulley. I have a 331 stroker with tea stage 3 ported trickflow heads. Im pretty sure the the belt is tight. The blower sounds fine, no bearing noise. If you dont hear bearing noise could the head unit still be defective. Could i have a leak i checked the tube going to the intake. This is a bid blower so you think i would be getting more boost out of it someone help thanks

i think its a 7 inch because its the double pulley and its a renegade kit
