Hey guys,

I'm looking into purchasing a set of 18x9 / 18x10 deep-dish bullitt-style rims from OE WHEELS in Sarasota, Florida. They sell on ebay.

Has anyone purchased anything from them before? Hows the quality? Can you post pics?

The big question I have is that I noticed the package I'm looking to buy only sells in 245/18 front tires and 265/18 rear tires.

Aren't 265's too thin for x10 rims?

Anyone bought them to show me pics?? Or does anyone have pics of 265 tires on x10 rims?

I appreciate any help!! :hail2:

I have ordered tires from them twice with absolutely no problems.

Just recently, I just ordered a set of 18x9 and 18x10 black fr500's from OE Wheels for my buddy's car. Rims looked GREAT!.... but we didnt put them on the car yet... because of one small error

the only problem is that they sent me THREE 18x10's and only ONE 18x9 :(

However, I called them them to inform them of the problem. They had pretty good customer service and immediately offered to fix the problem by sending me a tag for prepaid shipping... I have the other 18x9 on the way, so we'll let you know how everything turned out, but they seem pretty reliable.

I ordered my 17x9" and 17x10.5" deep dish bullitts from them last month. You may want to give them a call and see if they have other tire options. The wheels I purchased weren't kitted with tires, so I called them, and they had Sumitomo HTRZ's for the 17's. I went with the combo, and they also offered Hunter Road Force balancing (thought it was a bunch of baloney until I actually drove the car...smooth!).

As for quality, they look amazing...lots of compliments! There are a few very minor flaws, but they were mostly on the back side of the rims. Also, the powdercoat finish is lighter inside one of the rears, but it is impossible to notice with them on the car! Their center caps are some of the best quality I've ever seen on an aftermarket wheel. I went with the Cobra center caps, and they look better than Ford OEM Cobra R caps! For the quality & cost of their rims, I would CERTAINLY order from them again.

I agree with you about the 265's...too small! I suspect that they got a good deal on those tires from a distributor, and it probably also helps them make the package deal a little cheaper! I'm sure that the bigger rubber would add $$$. Call and ask them for other options, as I agree that their customer service was very good.

Thanks for the comments so far guys. I'll call them tomorrow to try and find a better combo.

In the meantime, keep the comments coming, and if anyone has a picture of ANY x10 rim with 265 tires I'd appreciate it.

This is a 295/35ZR18 on an 18x10. It fits perfect. I'd definitely say a 265 would have the sidewall angled in pretty good. If you can buy therims without the tires, that might be the best bet. If you go that route Tirerack.com has great deals.

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply.

I dont understand how these guys keep selling these packages with 265 on the x10 rims.... I was looking at their feedback and counted at least 25 people that have recently bought them and are all happy.

Weird.

I think from what ive seen that seller also offers wheels without tires. Buying a set of wheels with tires already mounted is convenient but it seems like anyone who sells them that way is selling you cheaper tires, and sizes outside what we would consider the ideal range. Personally i would prefer to be able to choose the tire and size that i put on my rims.

I bought them without tires.

I had 4 new sumitomo tires 245's so I decided to use them in the front. Then I bought 2 315 Mt's for the back. I tryed 2 315 sumitomo's in the back. After a week I went to the mt's

got my set from there. smooth transaction, fairly quick shipping, packed VERY well. finish seems to be good quality from what i can tell. no peeling or chipping yet. i chose this company because they centers were powdercoated rather than painted by several other competitors
