going through car and drivers website and noticed they tested the new evo, i was rather shocked to see the evo only ran a 13.8. Figuring within the year these will be on the streets its good imo to know thy enemy lol. This was the lower rung of the models though with a 5spd, an evo none the less. i know urls aren't suppose to be posted but i can't post up the spec sheet.http://www.caranddriver.com/assets/download/mitlan_evo_x_08_ss.pdf

Since my computer hates .pdf files, I'm gonna wing it.

Few things. Probably still on break-in miles. ECUs these days switch up timing maps and fuel for break-in. Next, they probably didn't beat on it. EVOs do best with redline clutch dumps. Which transmission is it, the paddle-shifted one, or an actual gated, shifter & clutch transmission? Significant differences there.

It's all in who those cars are sold to and liability. Those Evos are fully capable of 11 second ETs with very little, but they can't get away with selling an 11 second car...it's just too fast for the general public.
