I believe you would pull it via a couple of bolts that go into the block itself. They should be on top near the alternator, I think. I'm basing this off of pulling a 306 a few times, so it maybe a bit different for the mod motor.

yeah im very sure i locked one of the bearings on the cranck shaft the motor wont turn over and i opend the valve covers all the timing chains are on and i didnt see anything else wrong i also took the spark plugs out and looked inside and didnt see anything wrong so the only thing left is bearings and i know that it would be cheaper to just fix it but i wanna upgrade and get a strong bottem end to match my top end and get ready for a blower so i think iam gonna go with the mmr 900

Perhaps if you'd posted one of your last three threads it in the right section (Tech) 5-days ago, you might have gotten a few more replies.

I'll do you a big favor and merge the lot of them so you've got all your answers in one place.

....friggin newbs! :nonono:

yeah i know i need an engine hoist but isnt the best way to pull a cobra motor is from the bottom i was thinking about unbolting the k member, unpluging everything and unbolt the drive shaft and left the car up and leave the engine and the trany bolted to the k-member then i just take everything apart outside i just thought of that my self so i dont i hope it works if anybody did it any other way please let me know and i was thinking about getting the mmr 600 but everybody is saying the mmr900 is better what HR gain i'm i gonna get the last dyno pull i did i had 340 RWHP i know i have alot of ? but i wanna get it right

thats the biggest run-on sentance i've ever seen.:rlaugh:

i was going to try to help but i just cant understand what you are talking about doing.

do you have a lift?? you cant pull the engine from the bottom if you dont have an over head lift. i would recomend taking it to a shop before you do some serious damage.

Does anybody have the MMR900 in thier car. Or does anybody know if its a good choice, or is there something better. Am i gonna get any HR gain from a new forged block...

Yes, someone has the MMR900 in their car.
Yes, it is a good choice.
Yes, there is something better. Isn't there always?

I'm not sure how many Home Runs you hit this year, but it's not likely to change from getting a forged block.
