twin turbo...

well ive decided to twin turbo the GT instead of Kenne Belling it. But my question is this... my uncle troy (yeahloh95) has an 86' SVO 2.3T, and hes swapping his stock turbo (which he says he can put 300 to the wheels with), with a bigger turbo. He said he can find me another stock one just like his, and give me his, and he said it will be a monster, lol. Would you guys do this??

well see, he said about setting the whole system up with his turbos then just switching them out for bigger turbos. that way, the whole thing is set up...

I just ran this through the gibberish to english dictionary and I think this is what he meant:

"We plan to use the smaller turbos for fabrication of all the ducting and tubing. Later, we'll swap those out for larger turbos to fit the application."

Check out SVPU.com. It's a local shop. He has a 2.5L stroker SVO putting down386rwhp. As far as a tt the install is so much more involved than a single turbo. I'd suggest just running a single turbo. But yes 2.3 + 2.3 = 4.6 sou you'd be good on the tt set up as far as being able to do that.

Don't bother. IMO cutting corners is the worst thing anyone can do to their car because 99% of them ends up regretting it in the end. Besides, 300rwhp is pathetic for any FI, let alone turbo, no matter how cheap it is. Do it right the first time and go for something reputable (ex: Helion, HPP, KB, Vortech, etc.)

What he said.

(I think the OP meant 300hp from the 4-poppin SVO though)
