I was wondering a few things. 65-66 not the same as 67-68 when it comes to the width of the front wheel base... am I correct?
Does anyone have thier 67 apart? I am trying to get some frame dimensions for the front end. Width apart of the frame rails . the frame rails themselves. location of upper and lower A-arms. the whole nine yards.. I want to model the front end in Solidworks. (have an idea about building my front suspension - Machinist by trade) I would measure mine but with it being my daily driver. taking it apart would not work.. So if you have your apart and can do some measuring it would be appreciated.
also if any one has a 93 and up mustang and can measure the front spindles and rotors and breake calipers that would also be appreciated.
I am thinking of taking usable and plenitful parts (spindle assy and Rack and Pinion) and doing the engineering and see if I can make them work. I have a mechanical engineer that will help me with lots of the details. I just need to create the parts in solidworks. Most of the machining I can do in my garage as I have my own CNC mill. (little present from the wife.)
I know a lot of you know quite a bit about suspension and geometry so any commets or suggestions would be appreciated...
Thanks
Bernard
