Anyone here running a Turbonetics Kit for our car? If so please post, I have some questions for you. Would really appreciate it.
I have the single 60-1 kit. installed it myself, so make with the questions
it is rediculous! i was at the MPH dyno day today. i wanted to see how much power its pushing without the cats. . i must say i was pretty impressed. will send the pic of the sheet to the thread but here is what i got
512 RWHP
522 RWTQ
stock internals
So correct me if I'm wrong but the kit comes with a y-pipe that has cats right? Or does it use the stock H-pipes cats?
It replaces the entire midpipe. So wherever the current midpipe goes in, the Y pipe will go in at. So you have the downpipe that goes to the Y pipe (in place of the current mid pipe) and then the Y pipe connects to the over axle pipes and those obviously connect to the axle backs. I think that's what you were asking....
I see, so I wont need to use my mid-pipe at all?
Correct. You wont need the stock one or the off-road one. Put 'em up for sale and help pay for the kit

i would say that im pushing the limit. the 512 pass it boosted to 12psi, that is about all that is safe. the guy at the shop i dyno'd it at said "three pulls all over 500hp, start saving for a short block" so i may tune it down a psi or 2.
the fella I'm buying the kit from was pushing 515 @ 10 PSI on the stock motor however I'm pretty sure he's got a few other mods. Definitely know he's got a 1 piece drive shaft.
What is the reason behind ford putting in a two piece driveshaft? Is it for NVH?
