my car a '95 v6 mustang had problems starting when a new engine was replaced (idiot "mechanic" worked for CASE tractor dads friend) and every now and then it would start after a while it didnt start. checked every thing and found a bad starter replaced that and still no start jus crank. now I put in another motor (good thing for warranty) got every thing done double checked went to start it and nothing so i looked around and the starter was fried and replaced that. checked wiring AGAIN and every thing was good in voltage and resistance. so i start checking for modules and found one that was broken at the pins. jus effin great for me. broken module looked months old in the broken area. so i call ford and they say its a ignition control module and its $702 and i'd be better off aftermarket. and now i need to know if that is the right name cuz every parts store has the different name.

its located on the passenger fender under the air filter...sort of. it has the a/c wiring and maf wiring taped together and the module has maybe 13 pins. help would be greatly appreciated cuz $702 is hard to come up with.
